The Arizona State Horsemen's Association
Current ASHA projects are:
• Formation of special interest committees to offer assistance where equine interests are threatened.
• Negotiations with developers, state, county and municipal officials to protect horsemen's rights.
• ASHA Newsletter.
• 2 Ropings a year @ HorseLovers' Park, Phoenix
• Your state repersentative to the American Horse Council.
ASHA has representatives in municipal, county and federal groups, such as Parks Boards, Recreation and Trail groups, City and Zoning Review Committees, open space and preservation committees, and home owners associations.
Many of these are activities, unseen and unrecognized by the average horseman. All of the ASHA Board Members are members themselves of a riding or saddle association; the board represents horsemen from all over the State of Arizona |
